This is a survey course of the genres of non-fiction, short story, novel, drama and poetry. Students read such works as To Kill a Mockingbird and Romeo and Juliet. The composition component involves grammar, sentence, and paragraph construction, organization, and development. Students will write multiple paragraph essays.
