Edgar Montenegro

Welcome

Bienvenidos

I am a native born Spanish language speaker with extensive experience teaching Spanish in the United States. I taught Spanish I, III and IV at Ft. Zumwalt High School for the last four years.  Previous teaching appointments include St. John the Baptist High School, Forsyth School and the Berlitz Language Center. I became a U.S. citizen in 1996.

November 2007, I was appointed adjunct faculty member at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.  My teaching skills have been recognized in “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers,” and I was twice nominated for the Walt Disney American Teacher Awards. In 2006, I earned my Missouri teaching certification for K-12 and my Masters Degree in Multi-disciplinary Studies from Webster University.  In addition I would like to mention my degree in Economics, a five- year program.
